Welcome to The Bridge

Maybe you've grown up in church all your life, or maybe this is completely new to you. Whatever your background, we know visiting a church for the first time isn't easy, but it's our hope and prayer that you will be made so welcome here.

On this page you'll find some information about what you can expect when you join us on Sunday mornings.

What time do you meet?

On paper, our service starts at 10.30am. In practice, however, we rarely start on time. If you walk in late you won't be the only one, and no one will bat an eyelid! Services usually last just under an hour.

Where should I park?

On Sunday mornings, on and off-street parking is free in Banbridge. Many of our folks walk to church (weather dependent!), so maybe that's an option for you, too.

What should I wear?

Whatever you normally wear in Banbridge, whether that's shorts and a t-shirt, or something more formal. We're relaxed.

What actually happens on Sunday morning?

We sing together.
We talk to God in prayer.
We pray for others.
We hear from God's word, the Bible, which is good, true, and takes our questions and experiences into account in order to help us live in this world for Jesus.

What if I have questions or disagreements?

Great! Questions are part of the human experience, so don't keep them to yourself. We're always delighted to talk through questions, disagreements, differences of opinions and doubts.

What happens after the morning service?

People usually stay about after our morning service for some chat over some drinks and traybakes, kids run around and play, and you're welcome to stay as long as you like.
